Hero call with second pair in a low board? Hero call with second pair in a low board?

5-5 limit table

Hero(700$) Btn: Good thinking player with a very aggressive image. Steal pots when nobody has something strong. Can 3 barrel bluff in position if he thinks opponent is weak. In this session I had been siting for about 1 hour and got caught in a 3 barrel bluff where I was bluffing with AK flush draw and the other guy called me down with T9 in a QT642. Doubled up a couple of hands ago against another player flopping the nut straight and a player tried to bluff me off. Probably right now I have an aggressive splashy image. I also have c-bet fold a couple of times when I'm heads up and get check raised

V1 (850$) UTG+1: I've seen him limp call a pre flop a large number of hands and fold when he doesn't connect the flop. When he flops hands he usually bets right out and continue to bet. Looks like a guy capable of making moves when the time is right. Haven't played much against him tough

V1 and another player limp. I raise with 65 on the button. SB, BB and V1 call

Flop(80): 853
They all check to me and I c-bet 55. SB,BB fold. V1 starts thinking for 30 seconds. Looks a lot at his chips and raises to 135. The other player fold and is back to me.

At this point he is representing a 2 over cards flush draw, 8x, 2 pair or a straight draw. Remember I have a very aggreessive image and he might be making a move on me. This is a flop where i would bet about 70% of the time because people in this room mostly call with high cards and what they mostly would have here is 8x, set or a flush draw. I decide he may be bluffing me with a flush draw and 2 overs so I call.

Turn(350): 2
V1 starts thinking looking at the board, thinks for a while and bets out 250.

Hero?

I tend to fold giving opponents too much credit for making moves has been one of my downfalls a raise followed by a bet it’s hard to be a stone cold bluff but if it is you gotta let him win the money he earned it

There are better hands we can continue with but not just a 5 and if you do hit the straight it will
Be a 4 liner and you may chop

Fold to the flop raise. V is not repping a FD with overs much. That would bet more for FE, most of the time, much less a bare SD.

I have a tell on the guy and it really seems that he is trying to outplay me with a flush draw. Sometimes you have to trust your read. I know I can find better spots to catch him, but if you know you have the winning hand you should not necesarilly muck it

So why ask the forum what Hero should do?

If we call the turn we have spent $385 extra to see how good our read is.

With the river to come.

Well, according to you and your dead on read that he has a flush draw, you should push all your chips in on the turn.

Pre is bad, just overlimp with 6 high.

Otf dont cbet. It’s the perfect hand to check back with backdoor draws, SDV, and being 4-way where you should have 1% fold equity and you get raised a lot.

Otf fold vs raise

Ott fold vs bet

Dont “put” people on hands. Put them on ranges.

Vs 99.99999% of ranges you have a losing call otf and ott

Yup. /thread. If you have a read, that is something that we can't help with. I hope your read was correct.
