2/5 live nlh- about $1000 effective against a villain and I cover the villain. Only read I have on the villain is that he is a passive recreational.

Pre flop - The main Villain (MP) limps, button limps, and the hero in BB raises to $30 with AKo. The suits don't matter. Villain calls and button folds.

Flop (pot~ $65) - A,7,5 rainbow. Hero c-bets $25. I would bet this amount with my entire range, so I don'thave any issue with my bet size. Villain tanks and raises to $80. Obviously, villain can have sets and two pairs, but it would be too weak to fold tptk to 1 raise so hero calls.

Turn (pot ~$225) - 10, Hero checks and villain bets $100 and hero quickly calls. The bet sizing was a bit weak and I thought villain can have Ax here, but I didn't want to check raise to find out villain's hand strength. Any merit to check raise here?

River (pot ~$425) - 2, Hero checks and villain checks. Hero flips the hand over and villain mucks.

I am glad I won the hand, but I feel like I lost some value. Can you find any leaks in my play or is this just a standard play?

Thank you in advance!

Looks good to me. You wound up getting 3 streets anyways. What would you have done if he bet $350 on the river?

OOP there isn't much you could do. Potentially you could lead river but it's unclear how many worse hands you could get value from.
This is a situation where you need a better read on villain to extract money. If you could range villain on mostly draws then reraising flop or raising turn makes sense. If you can pin villain on two pair+ then you could get away from your hand on the flop or turn. If villain's $100 bet on the turn is weak then raising might be good, if it is a strong hand that is trying to suck you along then folding could be better. Villain's action in this hand doesn't cut down his range much so it isn't clear what would be the best option for hero.

Please don’t post results, I’d stop the hand after you check the river and ask for comments.

I think you played it well. It’s ok to bet more on the flop because this board is good for our range, you can’t fold to the raise. And the turn is an autocall, river check is standard too.

No value lost you won a big pot with one pair. V was putting you in a tough spot on turn and it would be tough to call a big river bet. Well played imo.

After 2 limps and being in the BB I would raise at least 35 pre, sometimes 40/45 depending on the players in the hand.

I would also cbet more to 35, but I don't think a passive player is raising with Ax there, or he's not passive. Maybe he raised thinking you're small cbet was weakness. Flatting was fine (folding is too if we know he's they type of player who only raises with 2 pair+) but the rest of the hand was fine.
