What factors do you consider when you are thinking og betting the turn and:
- Have a little SD value
- Know you are toast if raised
- Good chance will face a River bet if you cb
Sample Hande from $400 Rush
Hero MP with QQ
PF: Hero raises, SB calls.
Flop: 9, 5, 3 - 2 suited
SB checks, Hero bets 2/3 P, SB calls.
Turn: A completes the flush.
SB checks, Hero ??
My plan was b/f here and if called cb river (or fold if lead into.) In retrospect I think its pretty thin.

It can be good if you think the risk of you making a mistake on the river is very high, its also pretty good for metagame to be able to bet turn thinly for value.

In this particular example I did not have a suited Q.
In your opinion does that make betting the turn better or worse?

worse, because can you really call a raise on an A that completes the flush?
