2/4Eur at a German Casino, we are 8 handed.
Stack sizes are: Hero (900eur), LJ(400eur) and CO (1000eur)
The game is pretty soft. Nearly all the players are OMC.

Hero open 20Eur from UTG +1 with KK
I get a Call from LJ and a Call from CO

Flop comes 3 6 9 rainbow (Pot: 66)
I bet 30 Eur, LJ folds and CO raises to 60
I call the Raise

Turn comes the J (Pot: 186) Board: 369 J
I check, CO bets 310 Eur
I fold

I dont know the player too well. Never played against the guy before that night. That night he seemed to look at alot of flops but
give up when he didnt hit anything. I have not seen the guy 3bet preflop any hand the whole night so not sure we can asume he 3bets AA; KK; QQ; JJ; TT
in that situation.

My thoughts on the hand:
When I open early and cbet into 2 opponents, they must asume that overpairs make up a substantial part of my range. When he minraises me
it feels very strong...like he wants to grow the pot but not loose me. In this case I put him on 33, 66, 99 or even 69 sometimes. I was thinking he might also minraise 45 or 78 sometimes to get a free turn. Or he
has A/K/Q/J 9 and just thinks he is ahead so he raises small. He might also has a overpair AA-TT however, I would asume he raises some of them preflop some of the times. Also I feel he would raise bigger with QQ-TT
because OMC always seem very concerned about protecting their hand.

When he overbets nearly 2x pot on the turn it feels like he is preparing the shove the river. When he raises that high for value I give him sets, some towpairs 69 or J9 or potentially much less likely sometimes AA-QQ.
I dont think he would minraise flop with nothing to then overbet turn with a Jack. The only valuebet he might has that we beat
is QQ. I find QQ unlikely because I assume he 3bets it sometimes preflop. I also think he would raise it bigger (for "protection"). So I loose to pretty much all of his value range. Therefore
my KK becomes pretty much a bluff catcher. My hand looks like a overpair and I think he wouldnt try to bluff me of a overpair for all his stack. I generally think people arent able to pull such big bluffs for all their stack so
I asume he has basicly no bluffs in his turn overbet range.

What is your take on this? What should one make of flop minraises in soft live games? What to make over large overbets on the turn?

Given his OMC image, I'd eliminate the 2-pr holdings and range him mostly on JJ/99 and sometimes AA.

With that turn sizing, I like the fold. If he has QQ, take note and proceed accordingly for rest of the session.

It's tough spot for sure.

I know Euro games can play much different than US live games. I rarely see overbets at live low stakes games. And when I do it's almost never "on purpose" as far as they know the pot size and purposely overbet it. It's more of a "I'm gonna bet $300 because that's what I feel like I want to bet."

And normally those are very strong hands.

I don't mind a fold here as a pretty major exploit. But I wouldn't show it or tell anyone, just in case.

Fold, especially based on description. Sees a lot of flops but gives up a lot? Screams set mining and not bluffing much.

Fold is fine. He could easily have a set or even AA.

Standard spot to cry fold, especially against described table. Be happy he only min raised you on flop.
