So im playing cash games on a daily basis in Colombia. Cash games here are full of "calling stations/fish" so everybody limps in and call all the way 2 river.
The game is 10 handed. Dont remember stacks of all players...
Seat 1 (my opponent) player plays around 60% of the hands and bets all in when has premium hand.
$1/$2 cash / everybody has around $300-$500 in front
Button is on seat 10.
Seat 1 ($193)sb
Seat 2 bb
Seat 3 folds
Seat 4 (plays 98.9% of hands) raises to $10
Seat 5 folds
Seat 6 (me)($300) call $10
seat 7,8,9,10 fold
Seat 1 calls $10
Seat 2 folds
Ok. So i have 56 of diamonds
He has Q9 of diamonds
In this hand i told my self if seat 1 pushes all in on river i have to fold. If he bets all in he can probably be betting AQ Ax etc.
Anyways the point is that i told myself if he bets i would have to fold. Once he bet, i talked my self OUT of the idea and just said "i have to call"
So my questions are:
Did i play this hand bad?
How could i played it differently?
In future play, how can i not talk myself OUT of a "plan" in future betting streets?
Considering the fact that the table is loose, i shouldnt of placed 56 suited?
Ps: i triad to detail the hand as best as i can remember. 1st post here. Thx..
Villain value range for shoving the turn is prob. a flush or better,
and he should have a lot of flush combos in his range, cause he is playing so
loose pre. Thus you should fold river, especially since you are not getting
good odds.
