1/3 NLHE 9 handed, wanted to get a line check or idea of how you play this. Table was tight and unfriendly and then maniac sat down and the ecosystem of our fish tank has changed dramatically. He's 3-betting A8o for weird sizing, cold calling 3-bets from nutted OMCs and stacking off post with any pair+draw, backdoor stuff, etc.

HH: fish limps, Maniac to 25, H calls in CO IP, fish calls. H has QJcc. 600$ eff. Flop Ks 9s 7s. Fish donks 69$ into 75, Maniac jams 600$ I fold, fish calls his last 100$. Fish has 69o no spade, Maniac has 8s5c. Runout is 9x As and Maniac wins with flush.

--- H has 650$, Maniac has 600$, Fish has 120$ ---

One fish (not from HH but equally bad) limps 3$ off 120$ stack in MP, Maniac opens CO to 15, H sees A T and goes 65 from SB, fish starts talking on and on about how tough a spot this is and finally calls off half his stack for 65$, Maniac calls. 3-ways OOP.

Flop 195 - T T 6

H checks, Fish checks, Maniac bets 35, H thinks and just calls, Fish calls.

Turn 300 - 4

H leads 110...

I might just flat preflop cuz I'm kinda cool inviting in fish. And meanwhile I don't want to hugely bloat a pot where we'll often be facing decisions for stacks postflop OOP with A high versus this guy.

I probably lean to a very small cbet, although don't hate the tarping check/call either.

Turn is kinda why I think cbetting might be better cuz our line looks so strong. Whereas a couple of small bets might look weaker / invite a move.

I would let the maniac maniac and just check turn, check river as played. I think I would rather bet $50 on the flop and check the turn to let the maniac hang himself.
