Live game, playing 2-5 this past Sunday at Horseshoe.
Folded to me in the cut off with A8hh. I raise to 20. SB and BB calls. SB is pretty tight and has pushed a couple times with ~20 BBs. BB is a rock. Preflop stacks: SB: ~210, BB~280, Hero over 1K.
Flop is A62 rainbow. SB goes all in for remaining $190, BB folds.
My action, call or fold?

Is a "tight" player ever jamming here with a bluff? I've never seen an actual tight player bluff here. My guess would be that they flopped well (maybe A2) and are trying to take it down now rather than try to get value and have to worry about whether the turn or river card hit their opponent. This is the type of guy who jams and then shows two pair after and tells you he didn't want to get outdrawn because he always loses with two pair.

I guess I don't see why push with 3x pot and a strong holding (better than 1 pair) against an aggressive opponent. I would think that even a very tight player would want to try to check raise.
Or is this a standard/preferred play since there is an A on the flop and the preflop raiser's range would Ax-AK quite often. That seems like a questionable play when you just flopped a big hand.

Meh, I fold.
4x pre may be standard in a lot of a games, but I think it's far from optimal given the stacks/players in the blinds.
