Villain - Been pretty quiet but has gone all in twice (over-betting greatly) and hasnt had to show yet. seems to be passive-aggressive. blinds 1$/2$

V1 (400$) - UTG
hero (290$) - Button (77)

V1 - raises to 10$ folds to button
Hero - calls (sb & bb) fold (pot 23$)

Flop 7qj

V1- bets 25$, hero calls (pot 73$)

turn - k
V1 bets 30$, hero raises to 60$, V1 calls (pot 193$)

river - J
V1 goes all in, hero calls...
V1 shows pocket Kings

Is there anyway to fold 77 in this situation?

No way to flat that flop. Raise, it is the ideal payoff flop. What worse than an overpair can you rep on a blank turn?

I make it $90 otf and call a shove. If he flats, shove any non-spade turn. You're stack is the size of the pot, but thats fine. If a spade hits, you could still maybe shove if you have a correct read or something, but i kinda like checking back.

As played, i dont like min-raise ott at all. With that Ks hitting, this board kinda sucks. We dont want to open the action back to him and i like calling to control the pot.

Well you definitely played it backwards. I would definitely be raising the flop...There is wayy too much value to be had to flat. And dont post results because now everyone will have a biased opinion. I would raise to $80 otf. The interesting thing is lets say we raise to $80...villain flats. Once the Ks hits turn his range changes big time. He can no longer have AsKs and KK just caught up. So his range now looks like JJ+, AsQx. And im pretty sure AKo folds to our flop 3 bet. How do we approach turn here?

You're asking the wrong question wanting to fold your set. Instead ask how to play it better. Start by raising the flop. Also, when you raise, get rid of the min raise from your arsenal of moves.

This belongs in BBV, but since you asked: you are setting money on fire slowplaying your sets, especially on flops like this one.

I think you should've raised with the board that wet. I think on a 3-flush 3-straight board it's possible fold prior to the board pairing.

This is played poorly enough to avoid being BBV. Raise the flop. If you're going to raise the turn, raise by a lot more so the answer on the river is trivial. Personally it is hard to see what shoves the river that you beat but I'm not good enough to fold a FH on the river.

He expresses negative feelings indirectly????

100% raise flop. AP,snap call and expect to often see turned flush, sometimes other boats, Jx.
