jumping the gun a bit, but this way we have time to get our goals straight before we starting playing in February

-----------------------------

my goals:

- i need to tighten up a bit, especially when running bad at loose passive tables where i may be tempted to raise mediocre hands

- continue to play cautiously when i haven't yet developed reliable reads on villain(s)

- be more disciplined / willing to give up when conditions suggest we should c/f rather than barrel

- Tilt Control (on this forum)

- 150h of 'live' play (even though I won't be able to put in much work the first week)

- eat better (as I've been so bad lately)

- spend way more time reading than posting (COTW, COTM and the Archives that venice posted earlier today)

- if I have any time left I'm going to read Tommy Angelo's book (as I've heard so many good things about it)

- help venice and jloc however I can (even if that means 'stay out of their way')

GL to everyone else

  1. Play at least 30K hands online, and win enough to rolled for the next level of my online challenge/learning-experience.
  2. Meet certain rakeback/ironman challenge goals.
  3. Play small/short sessions of live poker on the weekends, so that I don't get rusty, or anything. In those session, try to apply some of the things I've learned these past two months from online play.
  4. Learn from Ivey, and take breaks if experiencing a downswing, adhering to the following rule: Lose at most two buyins, take at least a 30 min break. Spend that time reading/responding to online poker posts. (Here I am .)
  5. Continue learning from the coaching site I signed up for. Watch at least 20 more videos. Post at least 10 well-thought-out hands there.
  6. Inquire about coaching from one of the geniuses from the coaching site I've signed up for.
  7. Become a poker god.

--Play at least 50 hours.

--Work on establishing a firm range for players consistently limp calling

--Table change when needed (ie don't become the gnome of the rock garden)
