hey guys...

a hand that i justed played....I aint to sure about it...

It's 10 am....Half the table has been playing for more than 12 hours, 3 guys just arrived...

1/2 live.

(3 handed)
MP+2: raise to 12...Has been playing pretty LAG, likes to see flops. I have seen him play for about 3 orbits, tripled up...Called an Overbet AI with openended straighdraw.(200bb)
BU:calls ( 70bb). He just arrived, looks like a bad regular, knows evrybody...but looks like a loser.
Hero:BB calls AJ (150bb)

pot( 40$)

F: 8910

Hero BB:checks
MP: bets 1/2 pot.
BU: calls.
Hero: Raises to 70$

MP: tanks for a while and calls.
BU: tanks for a long time and calls.(AI)

T:K

Hero: pushes AI
MP: folds.

Is this a decent play, or should i have played it in a different way. To aggressive???

What handrange do you put BU on???

First instinct:

I like the flat pre, our hand is a bit disguised, we would be bloating the pot up OOP if we raised and narrow his range slightly.

OTF:I also go for a c/r on this board, sizing seems fine.

OTT:I also get it in here.

As for button (before we raise):67, 78, 89, 9T, 88, 99, TT, 77, any flush, 66 (this is the very bottom hand in his range)

I'm slightly confused. If BU has 70BB ($140) and calls $12 pre-flop. Then on the flop, you raise to $70 and he calls, wouldn't he have $58 left. I'm thinking he actually has $70...?

Turn pot is $235 (with $70 total stack from BU). Hero has $315. Villain covers. We have 36% in the pot, which is the equity we have even against the made straight. Well played.

The button had 109 and hitted a 10 on the river... How these donks even call with 2 pair, while a straight, set is so easily possible....i am sick of getting raped...

If I'm the button and I'm only in for $100 on the flop and I've flopped top two. I'm good enough of the time to get it in every time. I'm not sure that a rape occured here. When the money went in you were flipping. If you are convinced that the button should "know better" than 1/2 is not the game for you.

Not that it would have mattered in this hand, but does anyone consider Hero leading out on this flop a good play?

Not if the LAG is going to bet the flop. The c/r is best.

We get more value from the LAG, allow the lag to make mistakes and if we have any FE this would never be a bad spot.

The hand looks well played I think. you have tons of equity even against an overpair or big broadway cards like AK, AQ (likely to be in MP range).

I think the button's range here is any pair+draw like 78os, any 2 spades, a naked Jxs.

I ran some numbers through pokerstove and even against some overpairs and pair+draw hands you have **** tons of equity.
