Hero ($200)has a pretty TAG image until recently. I have been missing a lot of flops over the last 2 orbits and raising and cbetting to no avail.

Villain 1 ($140) in this hand is a little spewy. He just got his KK against AK aipf for $120 apiece and appears a little upset/shaken from it.

Villain 2 ($90) is a regfish, probably closer to LAGdonk than anything. His 3betting is a bit wider than a typical 1/2 player. AK,AQ, is a 3bet 100% of the time along with JJ+. I have seen him shove with 77-99 occasionally in the past when shortstacked. I know he is willing to stack for 50bb a little bit lighter than average, especially when tilted.

$5 button straddle
Villain 1 raises to $16 from UTG+1 ($5 straddle on) hero has AQ from UTG+2 and calls. V2 shoves for $90 total, villain 1 snap folds out of disgust. Hero??

looks like there is ~$130 in the pot and its $74 back to you, giving you ~1.75:1 to call. You need ~37% equity to make calling correct.

Against just JJ+/AQ+ your hand has right about that amount of equity, if you add in 99/TT, your equity goes to ~39%. If he's wider (77+, AJ+) you have ~42% equity.

If you think he is tilty, or potentially shoving anything wider than like TT+/AQ+, it's definitely a call. I wouldn't be super fist-pump snapping though, I'd prob take a little while and do some math at the table before calling.

I agree with Illini. It's a pretty sick spot, because it's a borderline EV spot and you're probably behind, but given his "value" range you're basically 0 EV and since he's kinda aggro and spewy any bluffs or spews you add just makes it more +EV.

Even if you lose this, you can't be a huge EV dog, and doubling up this guy is probably good because it makes him stop shoving light which is actually bad at a table of LP's because you can't iso properly. So I'm fine with doubling this guy up if I have to given that it's probably +EV and we can make him go away/make him stop doing that.

Well played...great workup on the villain. As mentioned above, I dont mind playing around with this type because even if I do lose the pot, I think itll get back to me unless he leaves.

Thanks, also when V1 snap folded I thought my outs were pretty live. If he calls, I probably safely fold here.

*Grunch*

I play with a similar villain (although mine has a wider shove range with 50BBs - suited Ks and any pair).
Snap call. Not really fist pumping, but with 77-99 within the range, I would get it in every time against him.

Good point. Its always nice if they fold in disgust instead of tank folding.
