My 1/2 game always has 4 regs at the table. 2 are always introverts who constantly ask me after rivers where I lose or fold, "What did you have?" Whether they're in the hand or not.

1. Do you think, as I do, that they're just blurting out the first thing that comes to their mind? Or do think it's part of a sophisticated plan to tilt me?

2. What's the right play here. My typical play is totally ignore them like they don't exist or "stop asking cuz i'm gonna tell you what I had every hand."

Awful game btw, one guy brought a gun to the casino - prob to cap one of these lame POS - but was stopped by security and permabanned.

Don't worry about it, people always ask to see cards.

I'd say there's a social dynamic in play here, if it's always these same regs. It's a social thing for them, and they're just genuinely curious. They're probably used to people showing them often enough for it to be worth their while, and it gets conversation going for them. You guys are playing poker, so talking about cards seems like as good a topic as any to get conversation going.

I can't imagine this being some coordinated effort to tilt people like you unless they are just ridiculously over the top with it, like asking what you're folding UTG preflop.

Tell them you folded the second-best hand.

Just smile and shrug. If you never tell they'll ask you less.

It's the first thing that comes to their minds to make conversation or to confirm their dumb donk "reads", not some plan to tilt you. Don't let it bother you.

If they are trying to Tilt you, it looks like they got it done. Why would you be posting about it otherwise? Try simply saying " Sorry No free information" or "AK" every time!
