sorry im pretty sure this should be posted in the staking forum but i am somewhat new to the site and havent registered for the marketplace yet..

anywho its just a simple staking question, if i were getting staked in a game and the stake was 50/50 w makeup, and say my makeup was at 300, now say my next session i play i cash out with a total of 700 (original stake buy in of 300 for the night). Now my question is about the makeup, so after i give the initial stake buy in of 300 back that leaves me with 400 profit. Now does the 300 makeup come straight out of that 400, or would me paying back my make up come from my share of teh 400 (200$)?

thx n sorry for the nooob question just confused for some reason...

If you're in MU that is always paid first. Remember 50/50 only applies to overall profit. Not each session. Once you get out of MU then you can start splitting the profits.

So in short yes it will come out of your most recent sessions winnings before you can take any cut. I would never stake anyone in a cash game personally, unless I was doing it as a favor/charity to a good friend. It's too easy to skim off the top.

MU is usually set up to consume 100% of the profits until it is eliminated.

I'll simply note that most "noobs" usually are unable to get staking arrangements unless it is from a friend. If it is a friend, eventually you'll have to chose between the staking arrangement and your friendship. As the stakee, you're more likely to be a fault of any potential breaking of your friendship.

staking players and roulette are very similar. Roulette may be more fun though and you know at least how much you are getting taken for.
