I bet 150. He says it's hard to be bluffing the whole way asks me if I have AQ, clubs, etc.

His specific hand probably would have called turn with the club draw and then maybe called river, but it could have been the small price on the river that got him to call.
AQ probably could have called a big bet on turn and all in on river.
I do value own myself against a flush sometimes doing this though.
