i am not c betting a 99J board 100% of the time, i don't see why we can rule that out for the villain here

You are surely betting a good % of the time?
if you don't c bet with an overpair on a drawy board, when are you cbetting????

I think it’s a fold pre and a fold on the river. Not the toughest fold on the river…A9 is probably also a fold because you lose to the same 4 combos of JJ/AA… and V never has A9 anyway after flop check, so the A9>J9 point is moot.

On turn, the card is very good for Vs range and the best way to build a pot is to go for the x/raise. I would check here by default.

A lot of players who try to balance will check the more invulnerable AA on this board and v-bet QQ/KK.

Maybe you're not range betting this flop, HU and IP against the BB 100%, but surely an aggro opponent is going to be c-betting close to 100%, if not betting range, and won't be checking back AA, JJ, or 9x on such a wet and dynamic board.

Might not be tough for you! But certainly would be hecka tough for me, and kudos to OP for finding it.

Flop:
BB basically pure check

BB basically pure call/folds and pure calls J9s to 100% raise.

When BB bets 125% UTG just calls or folds.


River:
(both players have 5 full combos each at this point -- but it's mixed)
BB basically pure checks
UTG mostly checks (NF is not in range), but bets 50% with 1 combo and shoves 685% with half a combo.
BB pure raises 99/A9s/Js9s but calls Jd9d 86% of the time.
UTG shoves 99/AA/J9s/Th8h (A9 not in range) pure and some Q9s/T9s/98s
BB calls half A9s/J9s and all JJ/99
