2-3 game 7 handed, 6 players in this hand due to a bunch of people moving around.

Button post small blind, small blind was small blind, and big blind was standard big blind.

Because of the dead money on button (~300 eff), hero utg (550 eff) straddles $6, folds to button and button folds out, sb ( older gentleman with mask on not too many reads) calls for $4 more (200 eff), bb folds, hero in straddle with 2c2h raises to 25, sb thinks about it for 5-10 seconds and calls.

Flop KhKdTh, sb check, hero c-bets $30 sb min raise to $60 hero tank calls,

Turn 5d, sb shoves for remaining stack effective, can hero ever call here? Should hero have checked in the straddle preflop?

Turbo fold flop.

The raise pre with a PP that everything has overs to is fine. LLSNL Vs are often non-believers on paired boards, so even a c/c wouldn't necessarily mean that you were beaten, but a c/min-raise means you are completely toast. I wouldn't even consider calling it with less than AhTx.

AP, this is almost always trips afraid of a draw. Easy fold is easy.

As long as you know what your doing I don't mind the straddle & raise as a bluff here. You have to be confident of taking it down a lot with the raise but button folding before any bet suggests you have the right crowd. C-bet flop is obvious given the situation. Trivial fold to the min raise, even if villain is bluffing they may still have you beat and villain's random garbage has good equity.

Checking preflop because hero was dealt a fishing hand is tolerable but you are in the hand to bluff. No reason to fear a preflop reraise so going through with the bluff is best.
