Just pulled from memory...
Villain is a solid regular, other than that I don't have many reads from him.

$1/$2 NLHE

Hero - $850
Hi-Jack - $500

Hero is BB w/ 88o
3 Limpers... Then Hi-Jack raises to $15, everybody calls.

Flop comes 8h9cQh
Hero checks, check, check, Hi-Jack bets $50
Hero raises to $100
Fold, fold, fold, Hi-Jack goes all-in for $500 total

Hero...?

Btw, sorry for the scrappy hand history format; I'm sort of new. Is there a way to post proper hand histories from memory? Some sort of program

with 5 players I would donk out 3/4 pot

as played I would c/r more than 2x probably about 4

you said villain started with 500 so how much is the jam? It has to be 435 right

without any other reads besides "solid regular" this could be a good laydown. Any over sets have us smoked, 10hJh is about 30% for us to boat up and we don't know how he plays his draws. You min-check-raised him on the flop showing streagnth and he jammed it.

I think we can make a great laydown (without any additional information) but if he plays his draws using max FE I would make a crying call.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it, and you were right. Villain had JT; I like your insight. Another one if you're still there.

$1/$2 NLHE
Hero - MP w/ $300
Villain - SB w/ $450
Villain is a HUGE whale who has made some over the top ridiculous plays: i.e open shoving flop w/ mid pair no draw for 200BB+... c/r shoving with complete air... And he very frequently opens for 20bb in various positions. When he does this, he often continues with his hand to the end unless he absolutely has to fold. He's gone all in w/ 64o on a KJ6dd board... and there's been a lot of similar situations to this.

Hero is MP w/ K9o
Villain is SB
Hero raises to $15, Villain calls
Flop is KQ4ss, Villain bets $25, Hero calls
Turn is 2c, Villain checks, hero checks
River is 9c, Villain checks, hero bets $35, Villain shoves

Against anyone else I would fold, but can I give him credit for having 2pair beat here? He's just shoved so much with complete garbage in competing for the pot, It's kind of difficult to

when that type of player starts checking and checking it back, red caution flags are going up all over the place. I wouldn't have bet the river against him leaving the flood doors wide open. He can probably beat top and middle

yeah, I would've probably bet the turn though, see where I stand....

A check on the river isn't that bad.
