Game 1/2/2 NLHE

Villain: Woman in her late 40's. Is limping in every single hand. I have played with her before but she never used to limp like this. Decent post flop play, will usually fold top pair weak kicker if she knows shes beat.

Hero: Playing tight but very aggressive in pos. A lot of respect at the table usually gets folds when I raise.

Stacks:
Villain 450bb
Hero 350bb

Hand

2 people limp early (theyve been limping all night) Hero makes his standard raise to $20 with 2 limpers with QJ on the button. Villain min raises to $40 from bb. This is the first time she has ever 3 bet anyone so im asuming its a big pair. 2 folds hero calls because of pos and stack sizes.

Flop ($88) 289

Villain bets $35, at this point im convinced she has KK or AA, everytime she bets big post flop, she usually has a good hand. (Shes been betting $5 a lot post flop when she doesnt have much of anything)
Hero decides to peel off a turn since were so deep and the flop bet is tiny.

Turn ($158) 10

Villain bets $40. Hero thinks for a while and raises to $120. Villain calls but is a little confused

River ($398) 2

Villain checks, hero thinks for about 15 seconds and bets $200. I think I definetly missed some value here, but I felt like if I shoved she would fold. Probaly couldve squeezed another $100 out of her. Villain tanks and calls with AA.

Did I play this hand ok or would you guys just fold the flop? Obviously I think were all calling preflop even if we know she has AA given the stack sizes and that we have pos. Is the flop call ok and should I have raised more on the turn and/or bet more on the river?

pre and flop are good. Turn raise bigger. After your call, pot is $338, and you only raise by $80. Make it $220-250 and set up a river shove, imo.

AP, river bet is also too small, but not by so much. But think how big it could have been if you'd pumped the pot OTT.

Size your bets so that you can go all in on the river

Agree that turn raise is a bit too small, esp given her weak bet sizing. As played, I think a river shove is fine here. At 1-2, most players that will call $200 can also call $350, esp. with AA.

I guess my question is, how much do I have to take off her to make this a profitable call on the flop if i hit? Im calling because 1. Its a weak bet and I know she has a big hand, but I can win huge pot if I hit my card 2. She pretty much always maxs her bet at $40, so if i turn a diamond, J or Q, shes going to make it very cheap to see a river. I agree the turn was the mistake here, definetly shouldve raised more. Im going to be honest though, this was my first big live confrontation deep stacked. But I agree I missed some value

i was going to suggest a small raise on the flop to see a free card since we miss here very often. unless she will react differently to a raise on the flop. but since she always bets such small amounts i just call here and be happy. like others have said raisey daisy ott big dont be scared to make a big bet she will call with an overpair everytime. she will probaly level herself into thinking she made a small bet which made you raise so just bomb and bomb river. as played i still bomb river you can overbet dont be scared to overbet, i do it all the time ppl dont pay much attention to pot size.

It looks like a good line to me, maybe raise a little more on the turn like 4 or 4.5x. 1/2 pot river sizing seems ok, she might find a fold if you shove.
