Dealing with heavy preflop raises 1/3/10 live cash game Dealing with heavy preflop raises 1/3/10 live cash game

The game is 1/3 with a 10 dollar rock which is a must use in straddle/missi position.

Normally I buy in for 300 but sometimes I buy in for shortstack at 100-150.

There are a few LAG players who will raise 10-15x the BB with any hand or reraise small bets with any hand especially if they have the rock.

I have tried playing TAG to counter these players but it seems everytime i hit the board they have two pair or losing to a gut shot/flush/open ended even with raises on the flop/turn/river.

With 30 dollar preflop raises ahead of me, I reraise to 85 with a hand like AK leaving me with only 215 left if i buy in for my original amount. I only have 2 bullets left to fire off another 85/130 on the flop/river or sometimes 55/75/85 if i feel their hand is into a very unlikely draw.

The buyins for these LAG players are often 300 or less so its not a deep stack raising 30 every hand preflop. They will just rebuy if they bust out and do the same tactic until I am out of buyins myself. There is a 3 hour minimum cash out for these games.

Any help would be appreciated

So people are opening for 30 in a 1/3/10 game if I understand it correctly? That doesn't seem too big to me.

Sorry my mistake. When the blinds are 1/3 the preflop raise will be 30. When the rock is up to make it 10 all around, the preflop raise would be closer to 45.

When the blinds are 1/3 and people are raising to 30 just play tighter, they are risking 30 to win 4, you can play pretty tight and not have to worry about them stealing at that price.

ok but what if it comes down to the point where you are card dead to the extent of hitting flops with hands like 810 that you folded due to a preflop raise but when you call with premium hands you completely miss?

I have been trying a tighter strategy but that just seems to boil down to luck

If they're really just raising that much, just shove with decent hands.
