How is life in Bakersfield? Man---, you guys have great games there in the middle of ............, lol,

That's a terrible way of playing NL poker by planing on calling pf raises to crack some dude with AA. If the old man know what's he doing he will not give you any opportunity because when he opens for 15% to 20% of effective stacks you are dead in the water, lol, lol, lol, See this is exactly what I'm looking for in Vegas when I see "TV poker experts" and home town champions that don't know much but looking to play 97s to crack my AA or KK but I may have AKs and we both hit a flush, lol, lol, lol, I want opponents to gang up on me and to come after me, so I can double up
Che,

Wrote formulas (5-10) are lol.
The 5/10 rule is not a "wrote formula". It is a guideline that is based on certain basic assumptions (such as you are in position) and suggests adjustment based on a variety of factors (such as multi way pots, villain tendencies etc.) It's a starting point for decision making not a decision in itself.
