What level of online play is most comparable to $1/$2 NL live at the casino? Would you say $25NL or $10 NL?

I find $5 nl on stars is close to equal competition to 1/$2 at most casinos I have played. Stars rakes way higher % so it is actually harder to beat even though it is similar competition.
If you can beat 10$ nl on stars you will be fine playing 1/$2. If you beat $25 nl on stars you will crush 2/$5 live.

Looks good to me. Just remember that live is slower as well, so some of your stats will seem 'off'. Practice your math too, none of it's done for you at the table!! You can risk much less and get the same result in a live game IMO. When you actually say "$100" and start to move chips around it just seems bigger than what it really is to a lot of live players and you can use this to your advantage along the way. GL

We have a million threads on this. Please use the search function. Powder_8 is basically correct, though.
