Part of your reasoning to flat the flop bet was to find folds on later street. I'm not sure I ever find a fold on turn/river. For instance, turn comes a blank, SB shoves, MP folds, and SB accidentally reveals a 10. Are you folding? I'm not. Only scare card would be top card pairing.
Also, to be results oriented, the same dude who flats a 12x 3-bet from the SB with 10-7o will never be folding the flop with an overpair, regardless of my image since they don't care about anything but their 2 cards. I think you can safely raise for value
