You were probably in their tournament room in the back. The cash game room looks like a classic 60s poker room. Sunken and dim, decorated in brown and black and white photos of the glory days.

Take the saddest poker room in LV and split it in halves. Sounds good.

Managed to weak out a one dollar win at Binions. Game was very beatable, but as sooner as I was back in the black (AC/DC ref) I picked up. Won just as much at Sigma Derby, and there drinking didn't make me any worse, so had a couple of beers. Then off to the Microbrewery and Chicago-style pizzeria at the Four Queens. How did I never find this place before?

Downtown has really picked up its game, imo.

Isn't their 2/5 uncapped? For someone just getting used to 2/5, that seems iffy.

Ha, no it isn't but it's 1k. I highly suggest the caesars palace 1/3 game if you play small and want to go bigger.

Is it their 5/10 that's uncapped? I'll try to check it out at some point. Digging the 2/5 and rolled for it, but since it doesn't generally go in CO, I'm still working on seeing it just as chips. Did a pretty good job yesterday.

Agree with this. Their FR games while the DSE is going are off the hook. 5/10 there can get silly. That was the place I played 5/10 for the first time and dude was dropping bricks on the table. 2/5 is just as good there. Highly recommend the V.

I wasn't feeling that great this evening, after a splitting headache in the afternoon that I couldn't quite shake. So I decided to play lower and hit up the Golden Nugget for their uncapped 1/2 game. Game was juicy, with several deep aggros. Unfortunately,crazy politics ranter shows up and pissed of the fun loving donks so they tightened up and then picked up. I joined them in departing after a three hour session, the last hour of which was miserable. Thanks, politard.
