Can I fold a full house here? Can I fold a full house here?

$2-5 live game. Villan is a 30+ year old guy who just sat down and we dont' have any history. Effective stack size is $650 so we are 130 BB deep. He is at BB and I'm on the button with 22. Two limpers ahead of me and I limp. SB completes and BB checks. So 5 players see flop: 238 all hearts. Pot is about $25.

SB checks and villan bets $30. All fold and I call. So now it's heads-up and the pot is $85. Turn is another 8, so the board is 2388 with three hearts. He checks.

I bet $70, and he shoves all in. What do I do? I couldn't think of a hand that would make sense for him to shove here. Would you ever fold here? If not, how deep do you have to be to find a fold to his shove?

Feel free to comment on every street.

a flush shoves, any 8 shoves..

[edit] oh lol did he shove for 500 on top? I find it hard to believe that a better full house would shove here..and full houses are hard to make anyway[/edit]

Yea this is a pretty easy call easily could be shoving to protect a flush now that the board paired or protecting trips with his shove as well. Your hand strength is very under repaid with a smooth call you cannot fold here sir

btw, you didn't even need to bother writing out the hand history. based on the subject, the answer is no.

I did call and lost to 82. I'm trying not to be result-oriented, but do you guys really think he'll shove almost $600 into a $150 pot with flush on a paired board?
