Story

Game is NL 1-2 in a casino where minimum buy-in is $50 and maximum is $250

Villain is the big stack at the table with $400. In 2 rounds of table, he has raised 6-7 times and 3-bet once, winning the pots without going to showdown.

I have $250.

The hands

Everyone folds, Dealer raises to $10, I call from the SB with KJ to face the villain BB who decides to 3-bet to $34. Dealer folds and I call out of position.

flop ($75): 972 I check, Vilain bet $34 and I decide to call with my flush draw and 2 overcards.
turn ($138): J, I check, Vilain bet $75, now i call with my top pair and my flush draw.
river ($288): is a brick. we both check.

Am I too crazy too call this guy who have a 35% prf with KJs and a draw ?

With KJs knowing your will be OOP heads up folding preflop is best. Annoying with villain raising that much because your ahead head of his range but the penalty of being heads up OOP is too much for that price. It's too expensive to reraise without more history.

On the turn it's a bad situation because the bet is big vs your stack. I don't like being in that situation without more history with villain but I wouldn't fold either. Villain has been aggressive enough I'm willing to call an all in bet on the river with TPGK.

Calling $10 from the SB vs. BTN raise is a mistake, especially with an aggressive villain still to act in the BB. If you have reads on BTN then KJs can be an easy 3bet vs. BTN raise.

As played, I would have xr flop vs. BB’s half pot bet, and absolutely would have xrai the turn when BB bets again.
