Board texture Respect? Board texture Respect?

As a rule previously when I am holding a decent hand and an opponent makes a move on me with a particularly dry board I tend to respect it more as he is unlikley to be semi-bluffing. Recently I am starting to question that logic after these two hands. Would love your thoughts.

1/2/100 Holdem ($100 max bet by law in this casino)

Heavy Action table

Hand 1

Villian 1 $370, young player tight, can tell has read some books but still a little green.
Villian 2 $240, rock
Hero $630, TAG image, winning and playing well

Villian 1 UTG+2 raise to 7
Villian 2 MP1 call
Hero A A Raise to 22
Blinds fold, Villian 1&2 call
Pot $69

Flop 6 5 Q

Villian 1: Check Dark
Villian 2: Check
Hero Raise 45
Villian 1 reraise 145
Villian 2 fold

Hero tanks, V1 trashtalks if I fold he show, I could tell he wanted a fold but he never got out of line after hours of play before. Hero folds based on read & V1 proudly shows 6 5

Note: I actually felt less comfortable holding the A because I could take A Q out of his range

Hand 2

Villian 1 $235 Rock
Villian 2 $300 LAGTARD
Hero $570 - same
Villian 3 $440 (same as hero 1 from previous hand, only 1 orbit after hand 1)

Villian 3 Mississippi Straddle from BTN $5
sb fold
Villian 1 BB Call 5
Villian 2 UTG +2 Call 5
Hero UTG +3 A A Raise 20
Villian 3 BTN Call 20
Villian 1 Call 20
Villian 2 Call 20

Pot $81

Flop K 9 4

V1 Check
V2 Check
Hero Raise 55
V3 Raise 155
V1 fold
V2 fold
Hero Tank Raise 255
V3 call

Pot $591

Turn 3

Hero raise 100
V3 Call

Pot $791

River J

Hero Check
V3 All in 65
Hero Call

V3 insta mucks and runs away

When I tank I realized V3 couldnt look at me (used to see it as sign of stregnth) but figured he was playing that hand from an orbit ago and couldnt see him connecting on that dry of a board. Hands might have been more about the reads / history. Do you generally tend to respect this kind of agression on a dry board or wet board?

Perhaps I was lucky to be correct on both hands, comments welcome please.

Hand 1 you fold because you have some read with the A but in hand 2 you didn't use the same logic, why?

So you nailed the tell from trastalk=strong; could not look at you=weak.
What is your definition of a "dry board"? To me both are not dry because they are suited and hand #1 is connected. Hand #2 has inside draw potential as well.
So again, it comes down to read of villian as to the chance they raise/RR big draws? Mostly unlikely in my experience at lower limits.

Hand one: I raise a bit more pre--to 25 or 30--but I think that you played the hand in a solid, "standard" way. You'll rarely go wrong bet/folding this kind of hand on every street.

Hand two: I also raise more pre here to 25 or 30. I don't really like the flop 3-bet or your sizing, as villain gets it in with you way ahead (44/99/K9) or with monster draws. This is a tough spot over 200BB deep. I suppose I'm either folding or flatting his raise and evaluating the turn, but I'm not liking any option, really. As played, you should be piling the turn here rather than betting such a tiny amount and calling the river.

FWIW, I don't really understand your comment about villain tendencies on dry boards, since neither of these are exactly "dry." The second flop is pretty wet, no?

It's $100 max spread limit, he can't 3b bigger.

I can't even begin to imagine what V3 was doing in hand #2... Did he literally run away? That's amazing.

@ Ilike I would have normally used that logic had it not been for the history. as I weigh my considerations on if im ahead that does enter my mind. Hand 2 I just felt like villian was going back to the same move since he thinks I fold to any considerable 3 bet without the nuts as per our previous hand

@ TAG Local casino makes $100 max bet or I might have raised more, Perhaps board 2 was a little more wet then I think. I opted for the raise because I felt I was still ahead and I didnt want to have to face 2 check/calls, otherwise I would have had to fold. In true NL Might have made it $300 on flop then jamed turn.

I will consider the weaker players will not reraise on the draw at lower limits thanks.
