What's the biggest PF bet you've seen get called by speculative/hands in $1/2. Obviously not AA, KK, QQ, or AK.

Few nights ago, limped to me, I raised to $80 in early position, get 2 callers and 1 short stack shoving AI for about $100.

The first guy had K/10, 2nd guy 10/10, 3rd, 7/8 suited.

I had the AA.

other than the short stack, we all had $300 or more.

I figured I'd get 1 caller at best. Never underestimate the gamble in some people.

Lost the $1000 pot, but got the massive action.

Does a guy shoving blind every hand for $1500 count? (Table was $300 cap but he won a few hands...)

I was at a table when the shortstack ($100, he just rebought, nice guy) said he was going AI blind. I said, "Really, if no one else calls, I'll call ya."

Cards are dealt, he shoves blind UTG, biggest maniac calls him, I look down at AQo, think for a minute, and shove (I had slightly over 600), maniac tanks for a while, then calls (he had me covered), and MHIG (maniac had A3o, SS had 34o).

I'm not really talking about maniacs shoving blind, but you betting out and a player calling with intentions to play the hand.

I've seen people cold call $100 with small pairs, even one guy called with 10/9 or Q/Jsuited...stuff like that.

When they got $200-400 stack or sometimes a short stack wanting to gamble.

Had a guy call off his stack ($235) with 10 J suited Saturday night at a $1/$3 game.

It wasn't a terrible mistake; probably only a few percentage points off from being correct.

Any straight that JT makes will be the nut straight...

Pretty sure I've seen people call off 500-600 without great holdings before
