Best (softest) 1/2-2/5 games in Vegas? Best (softest) 1/2-2/5 games in Vegas?

I know the WSOP is over and action isn't at an all time high out there. But I'm going to hang with some friends. I'll have plenty of time to play poker too. I'm not trying to play the toughest game in town (that's what I hear about Aria). Instead I'm looking for the softest games, to shamelessly put it "bum hunt". Thanks for any info in advance.

This belongs in Brick and Mortars.

there really aren't any exceptionally tough 1/2 games out there. any one of them are ripe for picking. that said, i have personally had good luck finding real crappy fish at MGM late night.

I played the Aria 2/5, Venetian 2/5 and Venetian 5/10 when I was out there a month ago. Aria 2/5 was medium-soft (2-3 weak spots). The Venetian 2/5 was actually fairly tough one session, and average another session, but definitely not at all soft (it's $1k max buy-in, so it can play bigger than a $500 capped 2/5). As a matter of fact, the Venetian 2/5 was not much easier than their 5/10 uncapped game, but that's based on a fairly small 1-2 day sample as I was also playing PLO while out there...

i played the 1/3 at caesars earlier this year... it was super soft.

the 2/5 at bellagio is always soft. 1/2 is typically soft anywhere, but i know from experience the mgm usually picks up a bunch of absolute terrible players in it's 1/2 game because of the location of the room. so it's a great place to play. if you like playin a little deeper, the 1/3 at cesars is 500 max buy in. where you from op?

I'm going to take a guess as to why MGM is being named. Many of the resort shuttles drop off point is just outside the south-east entrance. However, that can't explain it fully, as the last pickup time is usually between 10PM & Midnight.

My only disagreement is that it really belongs in LV lifestyle, but they'd lock and infract the OP.

There are multiple threads in that forum. Search in there.
