I am pretty sure there is a thread already addressing this issue, but I am not familiar with the forum that much and figured that maybe some things changed overtime.

I currently track my results manually. Tbh I dont think I really need an app for that. It’s in versus out, addition/substraction nothing complicated. A graph would be nice but its whatever really.

However, something that enable me to track time, winrate per hour or even by hand# and or stake would be nice. I am sure there are other useful stuff I have also failed to consider as well. If that is what it takes, I dont mind clicking a few buttons from time to time. Hell, at the speed it goes, I actually miss it sometimes.

What do you guys use/recommend?

I've always just used spreadsheets since they're easily customizable and offer access on all devices that have google drive. There's a bunch of apps out though, and it really depends on what look you like the most.

Yeah I looked into this in depth and couldn't find anything that got consistent good reviews and reasonable price.

So I created my own spread sheet using OpenOffice (free), took awhile as I'm not schooled in this but very happy with results. Free and customizable for whatever data you like to follow. Lot of youtube/internet help on how to do this. Every night after a session I enter all the data on my computer....

I also use OpenOffice. It's free Excel. Just plug in your results and it's easy to do whatever calculations on the data you want, and make graphs.

I use Google sheets on my iPhone and use Google Drive on my home computer, so the two places stay in sync. It's easier to enter a session on my phone and it's easier to tweak the spreadsheet on my laptop.

However, I've been playing with "Pokerbase", an app, for a while. It's free and it doesn't seem to be supported. However, it exposes me to an app.

Been thinking about learning how to create an app.

I use Pokerbase. Totally free, beautiful GUI, super simple, I'd rather press 1 button than 50 logging spreadsheet data.

There are a few issues, like editing entries. You can't edit buying, for example. Also, the graphs could be more robust.

You can edit anything you want. Buyins are treated as an "expense". Just click the big card that shows whatever you won/lost and add a new expense item, or delete the existing one and add it over again if you miscalculated something at buyin.

every poker tracking app does the things you want; they're basically all the same

There's several threads in B&M, I still use Poker Income, I used to like it because it came with a website to transfer your sessions to, but now it's no longer supported. You can still export them in spreadsheet formats and still does everything I need to do such as making custom graphs, etc. It's about 10 bucks after 10 free sessions, then to unlock other features like custom graphs it's like 5 bucks each.

Of course people can use a spreadsheet to keep track, or even a notebook but I think people use these apps because they're quick and easy to input the data especially after a long session when you just wanna go home and not worry about remembering everything to put on spread sheets.
