I think you're checking here because you think your hand is so strong - but it's really not. Any
, any T and any J hurts your chances of taking down the pot.
The only cards that help are a K or A... at which point, you're likely not to get any action.
Letting a player catch-up without charging him for it is a great way to get felted and then wonder why.
