Recently I found myself in what I thought to be a great spot to squeeze in but I still wanted to see what others thought. Also any advice on my sizing would be great too.

Weekly local 1/2 game

Hero is slight winner this session with TAG image

Hero ($280), BB, Q-Ko

V1 ($250) - UTG straddles $12, MAWG

V2 ($20) - UTG+1 goes AI $20, MAWG whose more so there to socialize, loves suitors, over values weak hands on strong boards, etc. His range here is very wide being this short (2-2+, J-2s+, Q-2s+, K-2s+, A-2s+, J-9o+, Q-10o+, K-10o+, A-10o+)

V3 ($100)- MP, calls ($20), NIT who would push to ISO with that stack and with any premium (JJ+, AQs+, AKo) so his possible range just calling should be 88, 99, 10-10, J-10s, Q-Js, K-Js+, AQo

V4 ($400), LP, calls $20, TAG who pushes all his premiums hands for max value so I feel his calling range is similar to V3's range of 88, 99, 10-10, J-10s, Q-Js, K-Js+, AQo but add in more PP's 55 - 77 as well

At this point when actioned returned to me in the BB I started ruffling chip stacks while thinking a bit. It was at this point V2 and V3 became very vocal that I couldn't raise because the AI didn't double the straddles bet. This was a CLEAR tell that neither had a hand and just wanted to see a flop. Because of this I asked for a ruling and the owner said since the straddle was only $10 more then the BB and the AI bet was $20 that left the door open for another raise and action was not cut off.

So with $75 in the pot already I raised to $100 trying to ISO V2 with all that dead $$$ in the pot.

Is my pricing too low??? Im giving slightly over 2-1 in a multi way pot, is this a recipe for disaster? Or should I always be attacking when these squeeze plays present themselves?

Your reads are telling you to squeeze, so go for it. Shoving is fine, and so is raising to $100 total.

Always?... It depends upon your reads. Some players will not let you get away with this, others will always let you get away with it. Again, just consider your image and your reads and go with whatever you deduce to be the best action.

Just my opinion...

imo I don't think these plays can be done effectively on a 1/2 game due to a lot of short stacks who may just go with it (mainly V3).

If we raise with half our stack, we have a hp sized bet or less otf to cbet, and people will be too committed at that time to lay it down. If we jam, the middle guy with 100 dollars might decide to gamble as well, then we're either flipping or behind to Axs or something like that. People also flat AK in 1/2 pre, some don't 3bet with less than AA.

In this game with these stacks I might just fold. I need some ammo to 3bet since someone might call and I would want more options post flop instead of all-in-or-fold otf.

I don't really like laying 280 to win 75 dollars in this spot in an action table.
