UTG is very tight. Maybe raised PF 2 hands in 4 rounds (seriously), and limped maybe another 2-3 hands. So his limping range and his raising range are both very tight.

I was thinking that I can get him to fold 77, 88, 99, 1010, JJ, AJ, plus maybe A10s, KJs, K10s, 55 and 66 if played.
Loosing to AQ, KQ, QJs (if played), Q10s (if played), 44 (if played).
What do you think?
I believe that they make a T-shirt that says, "I go to a crappy community college because my father likes to chase straights and flushes".
But I digress
OP
I'd love to know your logic for opening with this hand from MP. Did you have a plan for this hand, or did you think it through? If so, what was it?
CRanges is a great concept to learn for spots like this. When TAG players often continue with a dry flop, they have something pretty tangible. A real TAG needs a strong hand to continue here, and unless the Q beat him he's certainly calling.
I think I understand why you did it, but I disagree with the play. Other than folding PF, shutting down on the turn and taking the free card would have been the wisest choice.
