$1/2 day time game 7 handed at the moment.

H UTG $365 40ish WG unknown to V. Been at table for 30 minutes. Everything IÂ’ve done is standard TAG. Doubt V noticed.

V CO $380 Old WG. I donÂ’t know him. I assume heÂ’s a standard loose passive and of guy but I havenÂ’t noticed him in a hand really.

H opens A3dd to $12 only V calls which is an odd outcome.

Flop $24
Kh6c7d

H leads for $15, V calls but with a hitch or stutter in his movement. DonÂ’t know if heÂ’s contemplating fold or raise.

Turn $52
Kh6c7d. Jd

This is a good card for my hand and my range so I go another $26. V tanks for a second and min raises to $52. I guess we know V is strong now. But IÂ’m getting a good price in the diamond draw so H calls.

River $156
Kh6c7d Jd. Qd

Bingo. Rivered the nuts. Have exactly $285 behind. V slightly covers. H? Check, small bet, sizeable bet, over bet shove?

I would fold pre and check the flop, if I were to bet the flop I would bet a lot smaller. I'm probably betting the turn as played and going bigger. Lead shove river - you don't want him to somehow make a MUBS check otr with 2p, and I highly, highly doubt he's folding 2p.

I also doubt you have a TAG image if anyone is paying attention.

Preflop should be a fold. A3s from UTG is a rare mix up your range play and you have no reason to be doing that yet. Flop is fine for a c-bet heads up. Turn should be a check, you improved but you don't want to bet and get raised. Lucky for you villain made a huge mistake and min-raised, making your call automatic.

As played might as well shove. There isn't going to be much difference in how often villain calls between $150 and a shove.

Agree with QuadJ on everything, but especially preflop. If you expect a raise to go multiway, A3 is not a good hand to be raising from EP, even if it is suited.

Yeah 100% fold pre. As played I think we have to insult this man’s intelligence and donk the river. I expect check backs from basically everything but some pair + FD thing that he tried to see a cheap showdown with

Agree with consensus. Fold pre, overbet jam river. If he tanks and seems close to folding show the Ad

This is a super standard open 7 handed and A3s plays very well multi way if that's what happens. Obv don't pile if you only hit an ace tho. I'm really baffled by what others have said so far in this thread. If we have an edge this is a great hand to be playing. If you are a beginner or something then sure folding is fine

I'm checking flop all day long. This is a range check type of board.

As played turn is good and I like your sizing.

I'm donking river for 150. We will still get a lot of calls and he is 99.9% checking back when checked to when this card hits

We must play in very different games. In the games I play you are going to get 5x or more calls betting 150 vs shoving. You are missing a ton of value shoving and trying to cooler him.

Bet 150 and he will call all 2p+

Results:
H tanked for ~10-15 seconds and then shoved $285 into the $156. V snap called, literally beat me into the pot with AcKd.
