Villain is passive guy in his 40s or 50s, limp called folded to a cbet a couple times recently
(650)

Hero covers, broken table new to table maybe 3 orbits in

V raises ep to 30
Golds to hero in the HJ who flats with Akss

Heads up

(65) 10 6 3 SSx

Villain leads for 60

Thoughts on flatting verse raising here and sizing on a raise

Hero raises to 220
V calls

~505 turn bricks

V bets 350 with 50 behind

I was planning on jamming all turns if checked to right now seems pretty close to a call

your raise on flop was too big - and it especially looks like villain has an over pair given action.

Villian was smart to call + lead as he could safely check if a spade / ace / king rolls off but pound you if it doesn't.

If you wanted to raise flop and get in a bunch of equity 50-50 you should of ether gone all in or raised smaller or just called.

The way you played it - you were hoping for a check on the turn and didn't get one - a smaller raise would of accomplished this.

as played you probably have 30%ish if he doesn't have a set - which he probably just has an over pair and hopefully it's not aces or kings. If you have 30% you can just call and fold if you miss.

I think I could have played this better by 3bing pre to80-100 I guess reevaluating to 4b size

His open to 30 told me JJ or QQ as weak as it sounds to put someone on only two holdings and I guess I was attempting to combine my slight edge with some FE

As played could gave flatted flop IP

Call I guess is trivial, him saving that 50 does it bake me last aggressor when I shove just out of curiosity?
