im just saying, putting up a coaching thread without having any statistics usually results in flaming. sucks evg did it esp. since it def seems he has some interest in derailing potential clients, but i guess im less surprised than most would be idk.

I had a pretty serious convo recently, and I'm going to spread some wisdom on you young kids trying to "make it" in this game.

Don't get in it for the wrong reasons. The majority that do, will never make it.

Money isn't everything. Everyone says if you are unhappy before money, you will be unhappy after money. It is so true. I see the same type of person every day. The kid who goes to parties, ****s hot chicks, gets wasted, has the time of his life, and yet wakes up the next day unhappy. His friends thinks he is the **** for getting the hottest chick, and in some of your cases having a lot of money. But that **** won't last. That will give you a quick happiness, but it will never last.

Don't chase money, don't chase the "fun" things in life to try to cover up something else. Look at me. I'm not rich, not nearly as much as many of you. I have had to **** the same girl for 3.5 years now. I don't drink, and no it isn't because of religion, I am not religious. Religion leads to bliss? Not here, I live under no one's authority but my own. I don't lean on anyone, I don't need to.

So no fun in my life, no banging hot chicks, not much money(17k downswing at 2/4, 40k downswing at 5/10, remember?), and yet I'm one of the happiest people here. The downswings suck, but I don't really care all that much, it's just part of the game. I like to complain on here, but I will never be affected in real life by losing money. Money ain't nothin'.

So basically, look at yourself. If you are unhappy, you might want to figure out things instead of continually looking for cheap thrills or quick happiness. It won't fix your problems. I can't tell you what will "fix" you, but this is just a public service announcement that MONEY will not be the thing that fixes you, not for long at least.

i started out happy but became progressively sadder as i read that post. it had a good message though.

Money obv doesn't automatically make you happy, but it makes you more happy having money than if you don't. As someone who has had little money and a lot of money, I am def a good amount happier because I have money.
