I'm new to the table, but people seem decent except for the BB and UTG who seems like droolers. No good reads yet, maybe 15 hands in.

Pre flop:
1 limp from UTG
Villain (450$) raises to 10$
Hero (250$) call from the CO with AQ
(should this be a 3bet, or just a call vs a mostly unknown?)
everyone else folds

Flop: (22$)
A96
Villain bets out 15, Hero calls

Turn: (51$)
4
Villain bets out 30$, hero calls

River: (101$)
Q
Villain checks dark?...
Hero bets 50, villain raises to 150 after a moment of thought
Hero ?

What is he repping here?
AK that thinks I'm trying to steal it with AJ, and he's trying to steal it?
Unless he's got AA, QQ, 99 I got there on him. If he has AK A9 he's now behind, and if he has AJ A10 he was behind the whole time.
I'm just confused. What do you do?

Check dark usually means showdown value but not a monster but I can't say that I can think of an instance where I have seen a check dark CR on a river. If I had to pick a hand for which this line makes the most sense, I would have to say AQ. QQ is also possible, but the 2 barrels into the A makes this less likely.

I can't see V checking dark with a set here, as it allows you to check back, so I agree that you are probably ahead here. The other issue then is that if you call, you are leaving $55 behind.

I think we shove here.

Since there is no history, crying call. AK is calling, not raising.

Facing an unknown so it is difficult to say with any certainty, however light turn bet and check dark river may be inducements with the money card (Ace) OTF. I would not be surprised to see 99 show-up here.

I bet more one the river and snap call this.

Did you provide any information at all on the villain in this hand?? Against unknown, I'd call here because the dark c/r river line makes no sense at all. If he shows up with a nutty hand here, take note and use that information in the future.
