Game is $2-$100 spread-limit; max you can raise is $100 over the previous bet. Blinds $1-$2. My $400 stack is the effective.

One hand history that coincidentally involves the same two villains:

UTG (V1) raises to 6, LJ (V2) call, I 3-bet 87o in HJ without looking to 25. They both call it. Flop AK4r. Xx I bet 25 they both call. Turn Ax. X, V2 in LJ bets 40, I raise to 140, they both fold (V2 tells me afterwards he had a wheel draw with 52s.)

THE HAND: V1 in EP opens to $10, V2 in CO calls, I 3-bet to $40 with AdQh. Those two both call it.

FLOP: AhThTc (pot $120, 3-ways). They both check. They have way more Tens than me and I have a hand that needs very little protection (my Q is a Heart) so I check.

TURN: AhThTc Qd (pot: $120, 3-ways)

V1 bets the full $100. And V2 calls. We…?

I think this hand being spread-limit and V2 being somewhat wild both play a big factor in how we should play this hand. Larger preflop, like $60 or so. As played bet flop $50. We aren't necessarily attempting to play for stacks, but there is some urgency to bet AQ here just because we are printing $$$ against so much that can call us. Like, if V2 only calls flop I'm probably going for bet turn bet river for value on nearly any runout.

In flop spot, if you want to check back Ax, choose ones that can't extract as much value thru betting due to being weaker kickers & more likely to end up in chop pots with other Ax hands. Your flop line functions mostly as a bluff-catch/induce line, since this board is so locked-down it's not too likely someone's going to hit something worse and then call a big turn & river bet. Possibly missing a street of betting in a spread-limit game hurts a lot more than it does in No-limit.

RESULT: I did just call the Turn. I was worried it might have been too passive. Anyway, it worked out:

River: AhThTc Qd Qs (pot $420 3-ways).

V1 checks. V2 bets $100. I raise to $200. They both fold.
