2/4 Euro (3/6$) live game. I've just had a very bad beat and am down to 62 (didn't rebuy yet). I'm relatively new at the table, and all they've seen is the bad beat.

Full table (10 players), some with very deep stacks. I'm on the SB with AKo. 4 limpers before me, so there's 22 in the pot. I think it's likely that if I shove I'm going to get a couple of calls.

Is this a no-brainer shove? I.e. is it +EV?

I would personally not shove....if you scoop what's in the pot you'd still be short stack.

I'd raise to 20 or so then see what happens on the flop. If you hit the ace and push you'll prolly get callers anyway and be in good shape.

This is a bad reason not to shove. Just do what is most +EV. You're obviously going to top up if you double up or not.

If you don't want to shove, raise to 32. But I shove since you may look tilty after the beat?

It's +EV to shove. So, unless you've got a line which is clearly better, I'd take the simple approach.

Isn't a normal sized raise going to have you pot-committed anyway?

Yes.

I was actually more worried about too many callers. I did in fact shove, and got 5 calls, which was kind of what I expected...

Well I did shove and got 5 callers. So although it looks like +EV my chances were slim. Some pocket 10s actually held up.
