V: Wild maniac. 50 yr old black guy. Gambling it up. Playing 100% of his hands. Raising 95% if not opened to him and calling most raises when it is opened to him. Post flop he bets on most stuff. he can have anything really.

V2: middle aged black guy. Kindof TAG-ish and is trying hard but tends to tilt and overvalue hands very often. He takes "stabs to see where he's at"

Stacks: Hero=$300. V2= $100 or so. Maniac COVERS

I raise $15 from MP with AK and get 3 calls from V2, some other dude, and Maniac who are in SB, BB and UTG+1 respectively.

Pot=$60
Flop: K23

SB bets $50. Maniac raises to $100...

Hero?

Easy shove.

$15 pre might not be enough at this game. You might need to start betting $20+ pre.

And you're not limp/reraising why?

Raise larger pre if you have a maniac in the blinds who will call anything and you have position on him.

As played, I'd go with it and shove it in. Might depend on the reaction I see from SB when he gets raised also.

PF: So UTG+1 limps. We raise AKo to $15 and get three callers. We have position. Raise is good. Four handed.

F: Pot is $60 and SPRs are 5 (Maniac/Hero stack) and 1.6 (V2 stack). We've got TPTK. SPR of 5 with TPTK is just fine for a maniac. Looks like we should commit.

So, who cares what V2 does; doesn't matter. Our SPR is 1.6 against him so we'll get it in.

Maniac min-raises here. Meh...who cares....I'd just shove.

I think the maniac limped, otherwise this ^

I'd flat and get it in on all turns. The description said he's a maniac for betting a lot, not calling off with nothing. I don't want to get him off a weak K or a ****ty draw by 3 betting the flop when he's likely to bomb the turn with all those combos.

Get it in now before the turn makes him or scares him. Hes not gonna fold any flush draw or weaker king.

Yeah this was pretty much my thought process exactly at the table. Thanks for the input guys. I shoved.
If you want it... here are results:
Spoiler:
Both guys call. V2 had a pocket pair or something and Maniac had 23o and caught a full house when another 3 hit on turn.

Grunch:

What limit are we playing? If $2/5 I raise more pre to $25 or so. If $1/2 or $1/3, PFR is fine.

OTF that's a fairly sizeable bet. In your opinion would he do that with a worse king? Most LLSNL players won't donk a set. But they will donk TP on a flush-draw board to "protect their hand". Maniac's gonna maniac. You're really not targeting the SB, you're trying to maximize versus maniac. Flat the raise and GII on all turns. Sucks we don't have a heart in our hand but IMO this is the way to maximize our ROI.
