V1 is UTG with a 70 stack. Tight passive
Hero is UTG+1 with a 300 stack
V2 is UTG+2. Very loose aggressive and bad player. Play almost every pot, like to bluff, call every draw and paired hand at least once.

Blinds 1-2 straddle and double straddle.

V1 limp 8, Hero raise 30, V2 Calls 30, V1 calls 22. pot is 105.

Flop KQJ. V1 check, Hero check, V2 bet 60. V1 calls and is all-in 40. Hero Raise all-in.

His range is two pairs and 1 pair 1 straight draws at this point. KQ,KJ, K10, Q10, QJ. I decided to check raise the flop instead of Cbet in order to commit V2 to the pot with pair +10. I am not going to check-fold TPTK in a million year to him. If he has 2 pairs good to him, I still have some equity. How would you play this hand ?

How deep is V2? That is pretty important. In general, I prefer a bet on the flop for value.

I think CR AI is pretty terrible, more so if V2 is deep stacked. You are only getting called by better there. Just lead the flop for $65-70 and reassess on turn.

you have a 105 pot with a 300 stack (assuming villain 2 has you covered) Villain 1 is a non entity (though its a protected pot but I doubt v2 understands that).

Your not folding to V2 with a 3 to 1 spr...
If you check the flop its to get V2 to monkey off why check raise...let him monkey off...

so either bet flop and don't plan on folding or check call flop, check call turn and if he checks back the turn....probably shove...though a small bet to try to get him to monkey off still might be better depends on him...

That's important for sure, sorry! V2 has a 200 stack before the hand. He still has 110 behind to call. Pot is 265 before his call. I probably won't do this play if he has me covered.

@johnnybuz: When you tell me "You are only getting called by better there": you are assuming he is a good player, but he is not. I got called as a 2.5 to 1 favorite this time

Soooo....why are you posting this hand??

If you had a soul read and got him to get his money in bad....well great!! Generally this is a bad, -EV play though against most V's.
