So we are to never call a bet, Unless we know we are ahead?

By this logic we can never float a flop.
Never call if there's an over card.
Pretty much never bluff catch without the nuts.

Personally I don't call bets unless I have a concrete reason for why it's profitable for me to do so.

"I'll soul read him on the next street" doesn't really cut it.

What's the preflop rake at Parx?

Hand is probably fine in a vacuum.

Yea then 3!'ing pre is probably spew vs. described villain. If he's really opened 3 hands in the last hour and a half you can flat but that kind of sucks with you having the nut bad position. Honestly folding is likely the best option in like a "disciplined" sense, like if you can't play relative vs. absolute strength post. But you did so well done.

Again this is a very unique scenario, try not to be MUBs vs. any player that hasn't opened in awhile. A few orbits is really nothing in terms of sample and really someone could just be "quietly card dead". And even more so looks down at QJo and thinks its the nuts.

Still, I probably play the hand the same. You are deep enough to where 3!'ing is not really "wrong" in a sense, but I'd like to keep his dominated hands in and play a small pot OOP.

Looking forward to this getting flamed, I've posted some pretty nitty stuff lately lol.

FWIW if I had to guess I'd say I've folded AKo to a single open less than 5 times this year (800ish hours). But probably should have 10-20 times given position/range/stack sizes

So you don't set mine? How do we know he has AQ? We don't need to hit ann A if he has AQ as AK beats AQ. He already raised once with KJ and AK beats KJ as well. Do you know hand strengths? Maybe you should do a quick refresher on what beats what.

1/15 of my stack!!!!! OMG what am I going to do?!?!?!?!

Calling one bet with AK is always profitable. It's not like it's a 5 bet pot here. OMG I can't call 8bb with AK because he has AA is what you are sounding like here. I would expect better from someone with 3 years and 1300 posts.

It's this kind of in depth thinking that makes LLSNL so profitable for those of us who mindlessly range and exploit our opponents.

3 bet to $45 preflop. His 16 is almost always TT JJ etc. So rarely KK or AA.

I would expect a call pre and be able to foldhim out post regardless. I make it extremely hard for any player to get TT or JJ to the river even IP vs me if i have the initiative.
