I have six or seven asians in my room that all know each other and play together frequently. They all have the same style with a few caveats here and there. Because this isn't a very big room I can't always be changing tables or avoiding them and so I'd like advice on how to play against them. One of the good TAGs in my room says 'just change tables' but, like I said, this isn't always an option.

They play like this:

- VPIP/PFR of about 10/9, rarely calling pre, sometimes they come along for the ride in late position.

- Very tight opening range pre from EP (except one guy who tries to set a price with his PPs and also gets bored sometimes).

- Will 3-bet and 4-bet and gii with premiums, can be aggressive.

- Fairly tight continuing range, one guy can easily fold an overpair.

- They never really put any money in without a big hand so the only time I win money off them is when I have something like AK and they have AQ and it comes A-A-7.

- They often go deep later in the night when some idiot has paid them off so SPRs can be larger with them. 200BBs+.

Sounds terrible. All you can do is try to run them over if they arent going to play without a real hand, but its certainly not great. Basically if you run them over a bunch if they are overfolding that much eventually they will decide to adjust and hopefully then you will have a hand. Or else just keep blasting away and take pots from them

yell at them to play like loose passive donkeys. call the floor and have them kicked out for playing too tight.

You don't need to exploit them. They are playing way too tight. They are exploiting themselves by missing opportunities to win maximum value from the fishes/whales.

Just be happy that they are getting out of your way too much and letting you play a lot of pots with the fishes/whales.

People don't understand that in live cash game poker with 2 blinds or 3 blinds...

The bad players at the table are the invisible antes.

If the Asian tight regs at your table want to nit it up and wait to cooler the bad players, you can take more than your fair share of the sushi dinner.

Just focus on the fish frying.

10/9 sounds easier to play against than someone playing like 15/3. At least with these guys you know when they have a hand and can decide when to mix it up and when to move on to the next hand. Postflop tendencies will matter a lot

Right now I'm just treating them as an empty seat until they 3-bet me at which point I'm nit folding a lot. I nearly folded KK deep pre the other day against one's UTG 4-bet but decided nahhh and he had AAez. I feel like they trickle money off me here and there picking up my RFIs.

My advice is to bluff more.

How high is the rake? How many nits at the table at once? I would lose my money to the rake and would find another game.

There are 6-7 black players in my room who really get on my nerves with how they choose to play. How should I adjust? See I’m trolling. Just lol at saying “Asian” in poker forums

at 1/3 3/5 5/5 - table change. Rake is high, play with them a lot of small pots not gonna make you rich.

But once you go deep, try to exploit them. The value of hands like KK and AA decreases at 200bb+ deep stacks postflop.
