1/2. 300 effective stacks. Just sat down. I haven't seen any hole cards but v and the regulars at this table are loose passives. Lots of limping.

OTTH

Folds to V in LJ who limps. Hero raises to 10 with AcJs in the HJ. Raises are usually 12 but tonight people are raising to 6 a lot. V calls.

Flop Kd7dJh (19 after rake)

V checks. Hero bets 12. V calls.

Turn 5d (40 after rake)

V checks. Hero checks.

River Ad (40)

V bets 12. Hero?

Prefer to bet/fold turn here. We have more NF, top sets and even JJ than V and also TPTK.

River: I suppose we have to call at this price but I doubt we're good very often against the 1/2 population.

OP, just want to clarify - your thread title is "AdTc in HJ" which is not possible on this board. I am assuming your actual hand is AcJs, which is what you have in the post?

With two pair on the river facing a ~1/4 pot bet, I don't see how folding could ever be a consideration in this hand. Villain could be value-betting a worse hand, or block-betting with a King here. Raising seems like it would be pretty thin, but obviously this bet size looks really weak.

The river is Ad and you hold Ad?

If the river's a heart spade or club I would call. There's already 3 diamonds, and 3 b'way cards on this board and the bet looks like he's trying to squeeze out value, not bluff at it but you never know. He's only calling a raise with a flush, maybe a straight, but do we fold out AK maybe? Some people do l/c with it in 1/2 but I'm happy just calling here, and probably getting shown a flush.
