Any merit to just min-raising to $80 instead of $100? That means that heros hand is "face up" as a premium hand and played out of position, but I feel that Villian will be more likely to call $80 and both players would be "commited" which would make the hands play themselves out anyway. Pot would be $167 with $220 left.

No, the hand is well played imo. Sometimes they don't have it.
