Blinds are $1-$2, but a $2-$100 spread-limit game, where the most you can raise is $100 over the previous bet.

Late Friday, loose game, lotta deep stacks. I raise AA UTG to $10 and get 5 callers.

Flop: KsTs5h. I have AsAh. The BB checks. Do I check this too—basically try to keep the pot as small as possible?

EDIT: I’m $1,100 deep (off a $300 buy-in) and cover everyone.

I’m $1100 deep and cover everyone. Next deepest stack in the hand is at about $500. Most are around $300.

Betting $40. No reason to ever slow play in a limit game with basically the third maybe fourth best hand anyone can have. If you are playing no limit, maybe you can check at some frequency. You need to get money in the pot.

It depends what the other stacks are. I'd use your relative position here to x/eval and possibly x/r a small stack. If everyone has like 50 bucks then just rip, if 2nd biggest stack is 1000 then its different. Maybe its different at spread limit though.

edit: just saw your post. Yeah I'd x/eval, probably x/calling most of the time. People also x to trap at my game A LOT so it often x's through even when someone has a set.

This is as close to a 50/100 limit hand as you can get without being limit. The max bet is 100

I do have that play in my “arsenal” lol. Didn’t try it here only because the table had been soooo limp-happy i thought there was an excellent chance no one would raise.

For starters, in a lose/deep game like this I'm raising more pre.

I would still cbet to get value from Kx, other hands and draws, and since no one can go all in it's kinda helps you in this spot.

I did check and it checked all the way through.

Turn: KsTs5h 7c ($60, 6-ways).

SB leads out for $20, BB folds, I call, everyone else folds.

River: KsTs5h 7c Jd (pot: $100)

SB leads out for $25, I reach down and bring out a big stack of $5 chips, but as I do the SB immediately brings his hands over to his chip stack, in a way that struck me as genuine.

So no raise. But I obviously can’t fold for this price. I call, he tables KTo for flopped two-pair.
