Villain is the sweetest of princes, a stalky George Costanza type but with a certain neanderthal twist that first made me think his IQ might be on par with Forrest Gump. Furthermore, he has deep pockets. Often times he'll min buy several times over just so he can avoid difficult post flop decisions by shoving every hand pre. Other times, he buys in more full and goes on 1,500bb swings for a solid 3 hours. He's actually pretty quiet & an incredibly gracious loser as well as a humble winner when the deck hits him. However, it's not 2005 and this guy has elemental hand reading abilities. I've gotten him to fold to at least 1/3 of my pf 3bets in the past & he has calmed his post flop aggression against me in the past when I've called him down. He plays close to 75/55 pre and his aggression frequency post flop is for the most part huge. He only seems to get passive with draws in multi-way pots, though it wouldn't be uncommon for him to donk bet or cbet FDs and OESDs sometimes mw, so I def see him doing so HU.

The only hand hist with me and him that sticks out is me 3betting his standard $25 open to ~$100 w/KK and him calling in position. I check an A high flop and he bets ~3/4 pot, I call. Same thing happens OTT, and we both check back river where my KK beats his QQ.

We're playing 5/5/10 w/ about $1265 effective.

I'm the straddle, there's a limper in LP, V $25 from SB, BB calls, I see AA and **** up my sizing by only going $90. V is the only caller & based on this session, I think he continues with almost all of his range.

$204

789

V fires $200, H? It's a real ****ty board, basically a coinflip if getting to SD, so my question is who prefers a raise, which will likely commit us, vs flatting? I'm including a visual of what I think his PSB lead range is and what he'll likely continue with if facing a raise.

You have really got to get your preflop sizing in check man.

Call and draw to a blank turn to gii on and fold when it inevitably doesnt come

So villain raises only to $25 from the sb after there's already a limper of $10? Weird.

Definitely gonna re-raise big pre given SB description. The smallest I'm making it is $125 and probably can even go bigger vs this guy.

Call flop and bink the 7 ez game.
