AA in the SB 1/3 AA in the SB 1/3

Hi all,

New table no real reads just yet. Table seems a little bit tougher than a normal 1/3 table.

H: I have around $280 to start the hand.

4 people limp to the button who raises to $12

We have AA and reraise to $32 --honestly I somehow misclicked this and meant to make it 42...

EVERYONE CALLS.
$192 Flop: 1082

Should we jam this flop always for max value?

The Only Vs calling a jam here from you with your pf play have the made flush( or less likely a set). Since you have the Ace of spades, you cannot be called by a villain hoping to hit the nut flush. You are OOP on a multiway flop- I would either c/c or c/r based on flop action.

Honestly, its hard to mess this one up. I dont care if you check, bet $50, bet $100 or shove or anything in between. Its all fine. There are arguments for all of that.

Sort of my thoughts here. Aside from anything that involves folding, I actually think jamming might be the worst line, but it's still good. If these are passive players, I go with bet 100 and hope to suck one of them along with a worse pair+ draw than you. If they're more aggressive, then I like the check/jam.

Yeah, I like about ~$100, maybe a tad more. Calling any reraise on the flop.

If you jam it looks like you have AA or KK and don’t want any draws to beat you. I made a shove in a similar spot once, everyone folded, and got comments like “That was a good shove because you don’t want to see a turn because someone might draw out on you.”

So I wouldn’t jam because that will get a lot of hands that are way behind to make the correct fold and save money. I would really like to get called by a spade that might stack off if another spade comes on the turn. I’d probably bet no more than 100 planning to shove the turn.

Yeah, I go with the original thought raise size of $42 since it gives the raiser poor ~9:1 IO whereas the misclick raise size gives much better 14:1 IO, especially since we'll never be able to fold postflop given the SPR. Ha, 6way to the flop, awesome, and standard.

I probably just shove cuz I don't know what else to do at this point with these stacks. We don't want to possibly give a free card for someone to catch up if we're good, and if we're not good, we should have lots of outs.

OP, in my opinion there are two routes to take here. first, I would under-rep and C-bet a standard bet for value, most really weak pairs/draws/A highs will call and those who connected (but are most likely still weaker than you) might even raise. At which point I would re-raise and possibly shove.

the second route i would consider is a solid check-raise 3x the bet, and keep check raising until someone shoves.

I dont think your folding this hand..... I would try to maximize value before shoving.
