$1/2 cash game

P1: is relatively new, and seems somewhat competent. A little bit nitty and is willing to lay down 2nd pair to any significant action.

P2: Is a player I play with a lot (a friend). He is LAG but a good player, and willing to make moves (especially with position). He respects my game but sees me a little bit on the nitty side.

Effective Stacks:
Hero: $600
P1: $300(ish)
P2: $300(ish)

I have 99 in the SB.

Pot is limped around 4 ways and I make it $19 to go. P1 calls from MP and P2 calls from the button.

Flop ($62) 1063
I lead out for $45, P1 folds, and p2 tanks for about 1-2 minutes then raises to $125 (leaving him with about $150(ish) behind).

Thoughts?

I would fold. He's making a committing raise and he has you on a big PP, being a nit.

My thought process was with JJ+ I shove because then I can be any of his 10 combos. But since I can't even beat a 10 I have to fold here.

You fold here with JJ+?

1-2 minutes sounds like an act. Smells like 66 or even TT and maybe ATcc or KTcc on the looser side, maybe even AA or KK, but not JJ or QQ. I snap fold 99 and likely fold JJ and QQ while shoving AA or KK.

..But then again I'm also a pessimist

This is like the easiest fold ever.

We are crushed by his range, even if we include every single flush draw combo.

You are basically beat here all the time. Sometimes the obvious play is the right play...

Pre is good; c-bet is good. Now fold. I think that the bottom of V's range is a combo draw.

Crying fold. Save the chips for a better spot. I don't lead at this 3-way OOP.

Typically, I would limp along with the 9s and check fold the flop if I didn't hit a set. The real value to the 9s in 1-2nl is flopping sets; not raising oop then bluffing into opponents who don't fold. If I did flop a set I would certainly lead out and expect calls and raises. So why would I lead out when i miss the flop? As played, fold.

99 has more value than set mining, even OOP. But its tricky 3 way, but this dude is making it obvious for you. Thank him, and fold.

Folding. And not crying.
