~$600

UTG - loose fish

MP is also a fish, but an active one. He mixes a raise/limp strategy, sometimes raising with 98s and other times limping with it.

UTG limps, MP raises to $20 (standard open raise is 20+limpers), Hero(BU) 88 3bets to $70, MP calls

Flop($155) K 9 4

x x

Turn($155) 7

MP bets $100, Hero calls

River(355) 7

MP(~$300 left) bets $150, Hero - ?

What do these weird river bet sizes usually indicate? He bets 75% on the turn and then, instead of shoving, he bets 40% with about $150 left. I think that typically represents something like KJ.

Whatever he has, it looks like it beats 88.

honestly id just flat pre but having not done that u wanna range bet flop. if you're going to choose some hands to induce with, this wouldn't be one i'd pick. idk what's going on otr but i think id call now

hearts, gutters, 65, spazzes, somewhat unclear to me exactly how many Kx type hands he can really have from pre and if he go for 2 streets with them, sizing is weird, blah blah. i could much more easily be talked into folding the turn as opposed to folding the river for half pot semi readless vs active fish, but realistically just bet ur range otf and go from there
