Villain is a foreign man some European accent in his 60s. He's been playing loose passive for the most part but he has made some comments that makes me believe he thinks I'm a lot looser than I am. He'll say things like "ahh he missed". When I take down a pot. Or when I Cbet flop and someone calls hell fold saying "as long as someone calls..." We got into it earlier when I told him I don't chop and he took it a little personal. He's also 3bet me like 3 times in 3 hours. But overall my read is he's loose passive preflop and somewhat in line postflop.
Heros image is losing. Have played pretty snug but just can't get anything going.
2/5
Hero opens 8h8s EP to 20 (500)
MP calls as well as Villain who calls from BTN.
Flop (60) 754dd hero bets 35. MP folds, and villain calls quickly.
Turn (130) 3d. Hero checks. V bets 40. Hero calls.
River (210) 9c. Hero checks. V quickly puts in a stack of reds 120.
Hero??
On the turn w his small sizing I def didn't think he was strong. But then the river bet is a little concerning... And the turn is pretty horrible.. However the river doesn't change anything and my turn read was he's weak.

I just don't see anything we beat here. Unless you think he's creative enough to float you with two random overs and then fire two barrels on that board, I think this is a pretty standard fold. You said yourself, he's not that great pre, but more standard post.

I folded... But then he shows me AsJd and says "you didn't have a pair right?"
The tilting thing is I felt like this was exactly the type of hand he had... I guess this is being results orientated..

That's when your have to exhibit your real professionalism as a poker player & say, with a smile: "Nice hand sir! Well played!"

He'll be lookin' for you to be wanting to get even, so have the goods next time & don't hollywood or get excited. Just smoothly chip away at the dude's stack each street.

No tilting at the table! It hurts the bottom line!

Meh read results but I call on River. the small turn bet in this spot is generally a draw or weak pair (made A high flush as well but that is a smallish part of his range) nothing really changes on the river. I mean what happened in the hand he called a c-bet from what he thinks is an aggro kid with two overs and bdfd the fd comes in and he block bets and fires the river because he is losing if he doesn't. You only need to good like one in four times and I think you have that on the river so throw a chip over

Well ****.... This hand is ******ed. Wish you wouldnt have poated results so soon bro.

I fold for the following reasons.

1) 3d is worse card in deck for you, makes all draws.
2) On this board, a smallish bet could easily be for value.
3) 90% of villains are playing there hand not ur perceived aggro tendencies, so this is a bit unusual.

To those that can imagine villains perception of hero, floating w 2 overs and then weak bet strong bet dbl barrel repping a strong hand vs H passivess.. Wow! Very nice.

1) Does vills 1/2 psb look weak?

For me, on a board like this w so many draws I'm potting it to charge them.

Why are we raising 88 from EP? Also why so little? (My experience from 1/2 where I play a raise to $8 is seen as purely a pot sweetener and gets called as much if not more than an unraised pot). The vast majority of the time, we are going to have a flop with one or more over cards and out of position in a multi-way pot.
